Yeah, man, I just accidentally ran into that mag, Comes With A Smile, at Borders Books 'n' Music this week. Excellent interview. I haven't digested the whole CD yet (there's a couple other interesting things on there), but I'm digging "Atlantis." My only gripe is that Al Franken does the spoken-word intro. I mean, he has a voice that would be cool with the song, but the problem is that Al Franken's voice comes with so much baggage attached. I don't wanna think of Stuart Smalley and Al's Hot-Air America political rantings when I'm playing a song, ya know? It kinda takes my mind away from enjoying the song. But that's only a minor problem. The more I play it, the less annoyed I get by that.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling. |

Hey guys, sorry to join this one late, just to throw my 2 cent in, i haven't the faintest idea who Al Franken is, but i love the intro to Atlantis and think his voice sounds great, really deep and resonant. Sounds really cool i think, plus the song is awesome. I listened it to death unfortunatley but thats my fault. Still i'll unearth it again soon, plus i think it goes well with Honeycomb. |

I hope Franken is my new Senator. He's running. He's got my vote.
