hey peops.....i was wondering if people knew lyrics or tabs from surfa rosa...becuase alot of them on this site seem wrong..or messed up or something...im tryin to play the songs the way frank does on the frank black francis second disc... and on oh my golly..the lyrics are different and the chords dont fit...the d sounds right ...but the a and b flat sound really wierd..and the chorus sounds completley wrong....can anyone help me find out how it really goes?..alot of the other songs...seem a bit scetchy too...but if someone could help me with OH my golly that would be amazing!!....oh and by the way im not dissing on the peops who put the tabs on here....i know how hard it is to tab stuff..and who knows i could be just playing it wrong or something...

The database is pretty close, except the opening D is a minor.
I think it's played at the 10th fret.
The A and A# (Bb) at frets 5 and 6, respectively, playing only the G/B/E strings.
The "Oh My Golly" part i'm still undecided if it's major or minor D.

hey...i have some possible lyrics corrections for broken face...im pretty sure these are the right lyrics...because ive listened to the song millions of times and all the different versions of it....i think this is what is said in the different verses..
"there was this man who smashed his brian in little pieces. and then he drilled holes and then he put em back in there."
and the verse after ..
"the little thing who does my laundry. speaks no english. if you saw her you'd say isnt she lovely."
well anyway.....this is what i hear...i could be wrong...but if anyone else thinks that these could be right...please say so...thanks

Ok, the correct lyrics to Oh, My Golly are included inside the cassette version of Surfer Rosa. I know that to be a fact because I own the cassette version...The problem is now that I can only find the cassette, not the liner. BUT WHEN I DO...... We will finally be able to figure out which is the proper translation
