Here are some of my favorites:

You Ain’t Me (one of my all-time favorite Frank cover art)

I Don’t Want To Hurt You (Live EP) & Single

All My Ghosts & I Gotta Move

Headache I & II

Nadine US & UK

Men In Black I & II

I don't care much for the Black Letter Days cover art, too damn depressing

When you look at 'em all, they're all pretty bad. But I kinda dig the cheapness of them. I remember when PISTOLERO came out and I stared at the cover for a good 2 minutes in wonder at the crappiness...but it's charming all the same. I would have to say, and it in no way reflects the album, SMYT is my personal least favorite FB cover.

Not to veer the thread off of cover art, but you talk about staring. I spent hours with Pistolero looking at their faces in the bullets. Ok, yeah, I was stoned but still. Great shit.

Wow, I couldn't disagree with you more...

To me, Devil's Workshop is aesthetically stimulating. I absolutely love the colors and the feathery texture of the cover art.

I did almost the same stoned thing. I was staring at my new Pistolero's cover art for about an hour before realizing the bullets held the Catholic's images. Certain I had unlocked some great vision capability in myself- I had to go back and look at every single cd cover I owned to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I forget the outcome.

That's weird, SMYT is my favorite. My least favorite would probably be FB&C, it just looks like crappy stock artwork.

alright sorry to get off-topic but I had to post these beauties:

Led Zeppelin, IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR
Talk about trippin out, way back in the day, late 70’s, me and friends were hanging listening to the new Zeppelin LP IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR, someone set their Pepsi or 7-up down on the black and white album color and the moisture from the glass revealed a glimpse of an incredibly colorful watercolor of the entire cover. So we all sat around and dipped our fingers in water and unveiled the painting. Incredible shit, I’m telling you, THEY JUST DON’T MAKE 'EM LIKE THAT ANYMORE!.

Rick Derringer, ALL AMERICAN BOY
This little sun bitch rocked

Rolling Stones, STICKY FINGERS
My girlfriend (1975) loved this one, you know it was a big LP, with a life-size blue jeans with a big bulge, with a real zipper that could be unzipped to reveal…oh yeah, something else we had in common, we both dress right, ha!

Led Zeppelin, HOUSES OF THE HOLY
Contact buzz off this shit

King Crimson, COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING
One of my favorites

I love it when bands apear on the cover
especially when they look cool like on the Robert Onion single
pretty weird that David Phillips is missing though
he didn't play on SSMVGD right? That's only Gilbert-Feldman-Boutier-McCafrey-Black right?
because I believe this pictures were taken in the time of making that record

Thanks for those photos OMIACC.

I have never seen those before. Very cool!

I would have to say I like the yellow/orange, cult of ray and Honeycomb covers the best.

As far as singles go I would have to say I Burn Today.

As far as the cutest one (ok I know cute is anti FB)... SMYT.

Not nearly as bad as Pistolero, ohhh, people are going to hate me for saying that! As a graphic designer I totally agree with you and it really pains me to see type treated in such a way .

My favourite are the All My Ghosts and I Gotta Move singles, those rule.

Also hWolsky where did you get that image, did you scan it yourself? I am always on the lookout for quality covers for my mp3 library. I would love a quality oddballs cover since all the ones online are really low res, if I had a scanner I would do it myself.
