I taped The Beat off channel four - can't remember when but it's COR stuff wihch is newest...
Anyway, I've digitized it and it's available to anyone who's interested...
It may well be quite common - i'm just glad i've found it again after all these years loast in a mound of Video tapes...
I can FTP it but i'd appreciate guidance on appropriate res sizes etc - i did try to get onto the FTP forum but it just wouldn't let me...
If this show is really common just ignore me...

| Are you sure it is COF? I have a similar tape, but I`m pretty sure it is from around teenager (i think the only cof song is men in black - which was a headache b-side at the time). Did you trade your copy? Maybe my copy is from your master? |

Yeah, you're right - it was pretty late when I wrote that, I was half asleep...
It's from the Teenager era and includes MIB amongst others.
He starts with Czar and does maybe ten songs?
I'm at work so can't verify...
The copy I have is a first gen copy directly from TV but it's pretty old and went through a phase of being watched a lot... - it's not too bad, but i've converted it to a DV file so that I can burn it to DVD.
I've never made a copy of it - in fact it's been missing amongst a huge pile of VHS tapes that I wabted rid of - I thought it was in there somewhere so I just hung on to a couple of tapes that it may have been on and binned the rest.. I finally got my Video Recorder linked to my mac on Friday and fortunately it was amongst that bunch so I ripped it quick befor ethe VCR packs up!
If you want a copy your welcome - I'd ask a nominal fee for the disk and postage but that's all, maybe £5 depending on where you are in the world...

I have a copy of this too, mine it says it from 1995. The setlist is:
- Czar
- Whatever happened to pong
- Men in black
- Headache
- Oddballs
- Jumbing beans
- Adda lee
- Hate me
- Sir rockaby
it's a solo gig of course....can you guys confirm we're talking about the same show and if this I posted is the complete broadcast?

1995 sounds about right...
Your set list is almost correct except mines got Brackish Boy, not Jumping Beans..!
I just want to be clear that I have no intention of 'selling' copies - i'll just cover my costs for burning and mailing, unless you have a trade which is fine too - eitherway just email me...

i've got a nipper and a pregnant wife so this is gonna take time..!
I've got it in iMovies just now taking out the ad's and junk, I just need to burn it and as i'll make a sleeve for my copy I thought you might want a sleeve on your copy so it'll be a few days but i'll be in touch...
I've got a list of names who contacted me so once i'm ready to burn i'll be asking for addresses etc...

i receieved this dvd from jon the other day and it's fantastic.
he's done a sterling job with it.
i've asked if he minds me posting it on dimeadozen.org and if he gives me the all clear (which i expect he will), i'll upload it there in a couple days for those interetsed. which should be alot since it's avery good show.
but does anyone know the exact date?
