Guess what I've just seen (and photographed) in a Chinese restaurant on Cerrillos Road:
According to the restaurant's owner, this creature is supposed to "bring good luck for money and business"...
Btw, hello to all :]

Yo Fits, longtime no see.
I got one of these creatures from my uncle who lived in Japan for some years. It was given at the new year and some of the features on the face such as the eyes were blank and you were suppose to fill them in as your wishes came true.

There's one in my local Thai joint. I asked them if they've heard of Frank Black. They thought I was talking about the actor and said they enjoyed the show "24". I've never seen the show but I don't think he's in it, is he? |

They sell little clay versions of that cat at a pottery 'round here.
I'd like to buy one, but my wife forbids it. She has the nerve to call it "tacky"

I believe the show "Millennium" had a character named Frank Black. I don't think there's any connection between Frank and "24," though. I could be wrong.

They're probably confusing "Millenium" (which had character named Frank Black) and "24" (which has no connection that I know of). Both are/were on Fox. |

I have a little diddy one. So I'm told, you should have two and not separate them, else that brings bad luck.

The guy who created Millenium is a huge FB fan, hence the name of his central charachter. Not unlike the guy who created the powerpuff girls, who decided seeing as he was another FB fan to ask Frank to write a song for the show. He was given pray for the girls, especially written for powerpuff girls. Imagine how he felt upon first listen. He probably had a face like this- |

I remember reading something where that guy, I can't remember his name, said something like he was on the phone to FB, and he could'nt believe it when he agreed to do the song.
