Hello, me and my girrrlfriend just arrived here in Buenos Aires for a 4-month vacation. Yeah. Saved up some money and quit my job. And it has shown itself as a f..king great place thus far. We could need some advice from some locals, if there are any portenos at the boards. First, as the webjunkies we are, are there any public wireless networks in town? Or maybe cafes/bars with such networks? I also wonder if it is possible to rent a laptop around here? Finally, where can i buy a really, really cheap and crappy used acoustic guitar. Saw a weird store at Scalabrini Ortiz that had a bunch of fcked up guitars - are there more like that one? Thatīs about it. Oh, one more thing; cool local bands and stuff - tip us if you like. Iīll check in on the forum regularly - so post info here or pm me. Thanks! |

Wow, I wish I could help. Sounds like a great idea. If nothing else, I think you should make this thread your blog of all your activities while you are there. And if you meet any supermodel-esque Argentines who are brilliant, fluent in english, and like mid 30's american guys, then can you, well...Oh never mind.
