le details:
kathryn looked fabulous is her black dress/boots/jacket combo. i was greeted with a big hug upon sighting. about a minute later, sir rock appeared, looking indie chic in his shirt and jeans (i was sporting a western shirt under a green smoking jacket - i'm so fuckin' pimp when i want to be). we did not consume any alcohol together (but i had a beer before meeting up w/ the forumers). we chatted for 15, 20 minutes and sir michael went back up to the front to watch gang of four, while kiki and i took a seat in the seated area (for us old people, ie. not high schoolers with a ton of endurance like sir michael). we chatted for a good part of the set, then headed toward the floor for the pixies. we got about 10 rows back from kimmy and rocked out to the sounds. post-show we met up w/ sir mike again for a few minutes before he had to split. kathryn and i shared some pizza (both sicilian [how appropriate] and regular) and hopped on the Q train -> shuttle bus -> D train -> N train back to 42nd street where i caught my bus and she met up w/ her friends. always fun hanging out with kathryn and sir rock, as i have had the pleasure on multiple occasions seperately, but never together before. anything to add kiki or sir mikeabye?
oh, and charles has hair again. and tonight (sunday) is actually their last show of this trek, in kingston, ny. nothing too special - but mr. grieves and nimrod's son were both extra awesome. nimrod's had the slooooow second verse like the catholics used to do.

Not much to add.
Great to finally meet the legendary Kathryn.
Brian was looking sharp. He didn't mention how he chatted up Reid Paley for about ten minutes. Seemed like a nice guy.
Pixies were great except for getting beer spilled all over me. I guess I didn't mind seeing as how the girl who spilled the beer managed to grope me for awhile after spilling.

i was there with my wife wearing a bruce lee shirt and gray baseball cap. wifey had on a green hoodie. we were right up front by Kim directly in front of those two tiny pa speakers. I could have gone to the sunday show too. i heard it was an accoustic set and very small. Had to have a family day...oh well.

Damn! I was hoping to go but my neice had the nerve to turn two so I was playing Pin The Nose On Elmo instead of seeing the Pixies.
Anything unusual or unexpected happen? Any highlights worth mentioning?

Although im not really into that type of music anymore, Death from above 1979 put out a really good sound for 2 people. they also talked to the crowd and were funny. Demitri (sp), a comedian, was the announcer for the night.
I love video games but could do without the playstation ads all night. I've been to plenty of concerts with sponsors that dont ruin the off time with garbage. |

No, they thought I was Brian's grandmother.
