Awesome. I'll order it today. Carl, I think CWAS is only available on order. But their CDs are always quite impressive.

Atlantis on the cd! This is a great oportunity to get it for the people who already have a Euro/US-version and don't want to buy the Japanese-cd. Mmm, although it will surface somewhere else some day (maybe oddballs 3, ;))

I got my copy in the post today.
The interview is awesome, probably the best I have read in a long time (and the least Pixies obsessed).
And now Im gonna sing the Perry Mason theme.... |

I ordered mine on monday, but my local Barnes & Noble does carry this mag as well. They just happen to still have the summer issue out.

I saw that, but they're asking a ridiculous amount of money for it. I'm hoping some little import magazine shop will have a copy. Surely the cover price will be less.

Try and get this, the magazine and cd is a very nice package.
The song Atlantis is I think a Donovan cover (and a really good one).
Its got this amazing spoken word intro, Frank doing this big booming voice, followed by these awesome harmonies.
This is the second Donovan cover Ive heard Frank do. The song 'Sleep' that was on the St Francis Dam Disaster' cd single was by Donovan.
And I'm pretty sure that Frank mimes to a Donovan song on the Adam & Joe Show DVD.
I think I will have to try and get hold of some Donovan stuff.
If its good enough for 'The Man' its good enough for CheekyDan!
And now Im gonna sing the Perry Mason theme.... |

Well done, well done, this probably does merit a news item. Boxset confirmed, etc.
Now, the question is, has Atlantis appeared anywhere prior or is this a new recording? Jop (you kind of implied it had been out there already)?

It was a Donovan tune, is that what you mean, Dean? I think Frank's is the first cover.
(I love looking at the pix in the article Brian posted.)
I got some heaven in my head

I meant, has the cover (that Frank did) been released prior to this, or is this sort of an exclusive...

It's on Honeycomb, Japanese Version as an extra track, or so I've read

Thanks Broken Face, hadn't seen that before. Great interview, one of the best I've read - what an open hearted guy Frank is. Wonder if the 'New York punk scene' friends of Jon Tiven he mentions are the guys who played on Bluefinger?
