I just picked up the new Supergrass, "Road to Rouen" as an import and it's fantastic. After two mediocre albums it's nice to see them put out something on par with Coco or In It For The Money. They make some excellent rock music when they put some effort into it. Definitely check it out if you can find it.'

Or just get it at amazon

Will I ever reach 1000?

I've only heard the single (I forget what it's called) but I quite like that. I never minded supergrass though, in a sort of can't take them too seriously kind of way. I saw Gaz Coombes once on the Cowley Road in Oxford buying drink from an off license. Oh, and I saw them at a little local festival called oxstock. He has very pretty eyes.

You needed to know that huh?

Yes. The single isn't bad. Never got into the band. I only know two or three songs, I guess.

That's pretty much how I feel on both the single and Supergrass in general.

They're making a bid to be taken seriously with this album. It sounds like they're buckling down and smoking less pot.

Or maybe just smoking better pot?

I've listened to half of the new album so far. I'm not that familiar with their stuff, but my impressions:

Fun stuff, but original? White-album-Beatles mixed with British 70s rock. It's sloppy, but tasty as Weezer's Pinkerton. Like a delicious Sloppy-Joe. Yum.

Who cares about being original anyways... It's about interpretation and I'm liking what Supergrass is thinking on this album.
