Hey I am headed for Amsterdam at the end of the month and wondered where the best spots to hang out are? My friends and I will be staying around Leidsplein ( near Museumsplein I believe ), we rented an apartment for four days then we're headed to Munich. Ipretty muchknow the city, but am sick of touristy shops like Greenhouse. I like Grey Area but there is no place to hang there. I heard about 'The Noon' but could not find it the last time I was there. Just checkin', any help appreciated! -Jim Yo, Frank Your input would be much appreciated! |

Never been, although I am intrigued. Have a great time anyway.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

Well, if your in Amsterdam there was a cool club called Trance Buddha, but I don't know if it's there any more. Utretcht is a cool studenty city. Den Bosch is very nice too. And Alkmaar! |

"Hanging in Amsterdam" has awful connotations. |

i went there when i was 19. which was.. just a few years ago
i was impressed with how clean and nice it was. i was expecting it to be a cesspool, but despite all the "dirty" stuff that goes on there, it's a beautiful city |

If you're into sushi, there's a nice place on Amstel called Zushi that's fun and has great food.
Also, I could be wrong but I don't think Leidsplein is near Museumplein (where you should go, btw). And, you lucky lucky bastard, you should of course check out what's going on here:
