I've no idea about individual songs, but maybe something by Prince. Raspberry Beret, Cream or Starfish & Coffee.

Heh, I'm the complete opposite Mike. Their first album in particular is a miserable day album for me.

As for sunny days, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's eponymous album is very sunny weather music.

In fact, I'm listening to it now, in sunny sunny London.

Yes, 'Sunday Sunny Mill Valley Groove Day' is great. As 'You and me song', easy lovely lyrics.

I can't decide what's my fave Cyndi Lauper song for a sunny day...

Mikey took it well, Simon complained, as he does :P

Brilliant I made myself a copy and I just found it and I found a box of singles I thought
I had lost, I might make a little volume two, I'm sure they'd love that

Yeah some of it was really good. Thankfully you stayed away from Space and The Divine Comedy.

I would like to second Brian's nomination for The New Pornographers.

Out of all the bands mentioned back there, I'd rather listen to these than most of the others. Must be the nostalgia thing again.

You two should never get married

It'd be a disaster

You're not my type Mike, sorry.
Explain why me and Tre would be a disaster: you're right, I am disappointed.

I see what you're trying to say though
You don't think I'm good enough
And Simon could do a lot better
