I love snuggling up with my husband in bed and falling asleep in his arms
the smiles of babies when they no longer have that hazy sleepy look but they're old enough to recognize you
the Pixies and Frank Black Music
The smell right before and after a rain
The sound of a waterfall
Bridges over water that you can ride your bikes over
when there is a hazy cloud diffusing a crecent moon
kitties and puppies and baby animals, especially when you get to hold and feed them
a big globe of a golden harvest moon
sleeping in
room service after sleeping in
dinner for two
chatting and hearts to hearts in groups of two
laughing it up with a big group of friends
going to concerts and still being amazed by the talent
going to an art museum and discovering a new artist
or seeing a painting you've been waiting a lifetime to see
going somewhere historical and getting a mystical feeling that you might have been there before in a past life and not being sure if it was real
being able to love, forgive and be forgiven
to explore the limitless spiritual side
on the rare occasion to be driving in a car and it feels like that song was meant just for you and it makes you cry-- like going home after a hard day and they play "Headache" and your troubles melt away
to have a true love and know it is a true love and to have listened to your heart and to have been stong enough to wait and only settle for true love
to not be a sellout
to admire and respect people throughout time that have been strong role models and to cherish those real life heroes
to relish the simple pleasures in life and see them as a child might
yet have the experience and mettle to handle those upheavels in life like a senior
to ballance the serious and sublime with the moment and all the fivolity it might present

callahan were you at the thanksgiving 91 show at, i think, the avalon where they opened with that? front row baby, front row. crap, why can't i remember where the show was. anyway, caribou first song. first time i;'d seen them open with it.

I did see them there in 91 but I'll be damned if I remember what they opened with. It must have been the same show.
