Bossanova and Trompe songs on the current tour?
Are they playing any more this time round? I've pretty much accepted I'll not get The Happening, but I'd like a few more this time round last time.
Is Switchy keeping a score this time round?
How's that for a slice of fried gold? |

From Bossanova :
Allison Is She Weird Blown Away Stormy Weather Velouria (but they didn't play this one so much this tour... It's weird... )
From Trompe :
Alec Eiffel Planet Of Sound U-MASS Head On Subbacultcha The Sad Punk
And I'm Amazed from Surfer Rosa as mentioned by Ccuadros.
Not only The Happening is missing, but Motorway To Roswell and Letter To Memphis too... |

I wonder if at the acoustic shows that begin this week they will bust out some of these tunes.
[adding] Though I'd much rather hear the above-mentioned gems LOUD and electric.

They already played these ones last year, except Dancing The Manta Ray. |

In recent shows, these 'new' songs have barely been played though..?
Don't get me wrong, I've loved seeing the Pixies in the last year, but I think it's sad that the latter albums are being ignored. It's as if as those musics journos and 'experts' who call Bossanova and Trompe 'unpopular' and 'disappointing' are being proven right. |

Yep, they don't play so much the "new" songs from Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde. Too bad for the fans... I guess the fans would like more songs from theses albums... Am I wrong? |

I read some journalist describe 'Bossanova' as 'an unlistenable mess'. I can't understand that point of view one bit! If anything, Charles's songwriting peaked by those albums.
I just wish the view that the latter albums are somehow 'weaker' was corrected. |

The setlists are looking pretty fine now, aren't they?
Dancing the Manta Ray would be a welcome addition, though. |
