Anyone here love this movie as much as I do?

Anyone? Anyone?

Gotta love a soundtrack featuring Sigue Sigue Sputnik and The Dream Academy and Wayne Newton.

Ferris: "I do have a test today, that wasn't bullshit. It's on European Socialism. I mean, really, what's the point - I'm not European, I don't plan on being European."

Ferris: "I'm takin' the day off. Now get dressed and come on over."

Ferris: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

Haha, we quote that movie round here quite often.

Especially when someone calls that we don't feel like talking to;
He'll keep callin and callin...

Or if we don't want to do something;
I'll go,I'll go, I'll go...

Hehe, when Cameron was in Egyptland...

Whenever I had to deliver a long lecture, I'd do the "anybody...anybody..." routine and I'd mentally award bonus points to those students who got it.

One day a student deadpanned back "something doo economics...voodoo economics" and I cracked up laughing in front of the class.

I loved Ed Rooney, defeated, walking through the neighborhood, one shoe missing...his slacks ripped at the cuff and caked with mud. And when Rooney's secretary, Grace, covers for Ed on his office phone when Cameron is pretending to be Mr. Bueller. All she can do is grumble, "uuhhh...errrrggg, uhhh."

I was alone...in my BIG BED

I saw this film only a couple of years ago. It should be dated and tacky, but its soooo good. I love the bit with the Dream Academy doing 'Please Please Please...' while they're looking round the gallery. It's so purdy.

Cameron's just cool as well. Just cool.

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

After my parents watched it, my dad said I reminded him of Ferris. Was like the nicest thing he ever said to me...sob.

Seriously, what a perfect movie. I get chills just thinking of the lip sync parade scene.

I use this line a lot too. Great film. I would watch it tonight 'cos I am in the mood, but I have to watch one of my rentals.
