Yesterday, the New York Times published a write-up of "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others," the new show based on the songs of the Smiths, which opened in late June at London's Lyric Hammersmith. It's produced by Andrew Wale and Perrin Manzer Allen, aka the Anonymous Society.
Apparently, the musical got panned in the UK ("Some bombshells are bigger than others" read one review) but the Times piece (by longtime music critic Jon Pareles) was straightfoward.
Has anybody here seen this musical or know anything about it?
