Chopping vegetables sends me over the edge. The repetitiveness of it, the deft handling of the knife, the colors of the veggies, the satisfaction of seeing a heap of food ready to cook.
It's a relaxing sensory delight.

Having freshly laundered clothes affords a feeling of accomplishment, and that is my second-fave.

What is your favorite household task?

I like grooming...
You know...shaving, clipping my toenails, trimming the beard and nether regions...it's just satisfying and makes me feel like going out and being badass.
{:
And, yes, that does classify as a household task. I don't do it outdoors or at other people's houses (other than my girlfriend's, maybe).

I like putting laundry on the washing line. You know, getting towels lined up exactly even, spacing pegs, the thrill of whether the weather may change and get them wet again, or even blow your underwear into your neighbour's garden. And the smell when they're dry! You can't buy that, ohh no.

I like ironing, even though I suck at it. I usually put a good CD in the stereo, and when it ends I have 6 clean ironed shirts without noticing. I like the fact that you don't have to concentrate and thus you can fully enjoy the music while ironing. If it takes place on a Sunday evening though, I rather watch the sports program on TV.

All you people like laundry?!

I hate it.
It makes me depressed.
Its a thankless perpetual cycle that can never ever be completed.

Favs: Cooking (does that count?) and Laundry - oh, how i love laundry. Everything about it - its cathartic - drop your dirty clothes into a machine, add soap, wash them clean, dry them, and the fold them to look nice. I've recently started enjoying ironing as well, for the same reason Denis talked about, but i suck at it too.

Least Favs: Dishes. Thank God the new place has a dishwasher. Dusting and Vaccuming bother me too.

I have to be honest....I can't think of any household task I don't like. I love keeping a clean home, and things put away and organized. If I have a tough day....cleaning or tidying up the home centers me.

I'm pretty cool with washing dishes, although it's been a chore as of late because of the heat.

I'm not so fond of drying them, though.

I like cleaning bathroom sinks, and get a morbid pleasure out of using the plunger on the bath to see what's delaying the water from draining.
