My band has just recorded an album I am fully confident in. Songs good enough for the radio, other songs good enough for a movie soundtrack.

We're currently mailing a promo package to various sources:
pitchforkmedia.com
kexp radio station
NPR
local independent film-makers
local art newspapers
and of course, record labels.

Any other people you know of that will take time to examine the music and possible use/review/buy? (an alternative to pitchfork, US national art magazines, national radiostations?)

Our goal is to sell the rights to the album. Our sound is dynamic acoustic art-rock (think Damien rice, clem snide, coldplay, radiohead, muse).

Sorry I can't help you out with any other sources. I'd be curious to hear your sounds though. And curious to see how all this turns out.
