So me and Audiodr and friends of ours will be meeting up at wheat sheefs on King and Bathrust for some pre-pixies beers. Anyone else who's going is welcome to join us. We haven't worked out the time yet but I imagine we'll meet at 5:00 or so on the patio.
No talk about this show, eh? Well it should be noted that Weezer conceded the headlining spot to the Pixies for this show! Yes, the Pixies played last, very cool.
As far as new songs we got Stormy Weather and Allison. Would have liked to have heard Sad Punk but thats just getting greedy I suppose :) 1 song encore (Gigantic). Why dont the pixies go offstage before the encore? Its very odd to see the machinations of them milling about on stage faking a goodbye.
:) I went for beers after the show, though! . I was at the cottage that afternoon and drove back to catch the show. Was very happy that Pixies didn't go first otherwise I would have missed about half thier set!
