So do I. I've had to go through this winter thing 28 times already. Why should I have to suffer through it again?

Me and what money?

Besides, warmer climates have problems of their own. When it comes down to it, I'd rather have snow than hurricanes, tornadoes, or earthquakes.

No, thanks. The great outdoors are full of slippery patches and frostbite.

Snow might be beautiful if it weren't too cold. Besides, most of the snow I see isn't all crisp and pristine like in Kathryn's picture, but covered in dirt from being driven and walked over.

That was the weirdest programme. I think the humour was, er, lost in translation.

It used to be on UK station The Childrens Channel. I remember watching it over breakfast before going to school. "Here's a TV show, Telecat!" I used to think that it might have been a Polish show, or something. Is it French?!

No, I didn't. If I had, I wouldn't still need to look for work, would I?

I guess my original sentence WAS awkwardly phrased, but I had to figure out some way that I could fit "I hate" at the beginning of the sentence.

Oh, yeah! "I hate" would have actually been easier. It's hard to keep these threads straight, though.
