I was just wondering, during the Cactus ,Black seems to spell out P-I-X-I-E-S, because I heard it during one of their live shows last year but is it the same on the album version?

It's Dave that spells out Pixies (I think) and yes, it's on the album version as well.

In the David Bowie version (on the Heathen album) he spells "D-a-v-i-d"

I used to think he spells out C-A-C-T-U-S. Then I saw it as Pixies on Alec Eiffel or somewhere. And it does sound like it.
