| I sailed through my monitoring visit for one of our studies this week, just sent off an emergency use protocol to the IRB for a patient, all work is caught up, and now.....I am going on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks! Road trip, hiking, biking, friends, family, my fabulous husband and our upcoming wedding anniversary...and the Grand Canyon (which I have never seen),...oh! and a great water park that Floop recommended. (thanks Floop!!!)..and I am sure other fun adventures along the way. |

I made a blackberry and peach pie, which I will serve with Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy after the lobsters tonight.

Not to sound boastful, but it was good. All organic, too.
Do you guys have Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy over
in the UK? Even people who don't like chocolate ice cream would

Good things, today I had a gin and tonic, I did a GOOD DEED, I frightened two whole labs full of people by being super chirpy and grinning and talking loudly, I demanded poison from the techs and then chased people areound with the poison shouting POISON POISON! I covered myself head to toe in glitter, saw hot office boy go whizzy fast on his bike, and went to the pub after labs for a girly bitch.

I went to get lunch an hour later today and found hypothetical-object-of-serenading in the deli. We exchanged brief conversation, along the lines of -
Her: "Have you ordered?"
Me: "No, please go ahead."
