----------------------
-----6------4---------
--6-----6-------------
----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------

----------------------- x2
-------6----------------
---6-------6---6-------
-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------

----------------------
-------7---------------
---6-------6------4----
------------------4---
------------------2-----
----------------------

but when frank plays it his hands in the shape of a d major chord so i was wondering if any off u lot knew which 1 is right? plus i think this ways easier to play than the way tabbed on here

when fb plays this acoustic, he strums an open A minor, sings "hold my head" then

e-----0------
b---1---1-/-3
g------------

then sings "we'll trampoline" followed by
e-----0-----
b---1---1--1
g-----------

then into F (maj7?) for "finally through the roof"

i've a dvd of him playing Pixies solo and i'm sure this is pretty similar
The Dm and A# chords in the verse are played as 'barre' on the 5th and 6th fret respectively, if you didn't already know.

frank always amazes me
i expect some chords and riffs to be different, more complicated* than what they really are
(*many a time it's vice versa too)

and when i presume it's a barre chord, guaranteed it's open

Yep, that an Fmaj7 at the 0:36 mark.
hmmm.. I didn't know the guy ever played chords like that. Only majors and minors, strickly.

Is my guitar out of tune, or does he use a capo on the first fret?

..-. .-. .- -. -.- -... .-.. .- -.-. -.-

But Joey doesn't play with a capo on the first fret, just Black.
