Why does stuff like this not make it onto the news, but this guy killing his girlfriend has been on every channel nonstop for like a week?
edit: never mind, it wasn't on the news at that time, but I just saw it like, today i think.

What stuff doesn't make onto the news? The wrestler killed himself and his family. It's in the news here.
Charles Nelson Reilly's death was in the news. Not front page. |

I guess I don't watch the news much. I'd never heard about any of these things anywhere other than this thread.

reminds me of the somg "is wrestling fixed?" by carter usm.
i don't have cable anymore. didn't watch tv enough. i was in vegas last week and saw a thing on tv about a lady who was apparently abducted(?)while pregnant and left a 2 year-old behind as the only witness and then the newborn baby showed up on a school nurses front door step, i watched anderson cooper for about half an hour and then there was no mention the next day (at least while i watched), anybody remember anything about this?
The waxworks were an immensely eloquent dissertation on the wonderful ordinariness of mankind. |

Don't tell me they're blaming steroid use for murdering two defenseless people, one of them a child?

Roid rage. That's the idle speculation. Are the chemicals are in control?
What's with the killing your family and then yourself? If your life sucks so much kill yourself. Or, if you really think someone else sucks kill them (not really). But what's with doing both? What kind of justification leads to both? The root cause seems to me to be egomaniacs. One believes the family belongs to them, so that if they can't go on the family has to die too. |

When did this thread morph into one about actual human deaths?

Yeah, I guess you're right, although it was a definite minority back then. I suppose the thread went off-topic really quickly.
