I had a quick gander on musicstack and they were there but for about 50-70 dollars each! my pockets don't go that deep! and i thought the expense of collecting franks back catalogue was over once i obtained oddballs! do you think the bonus tracks will be included on the b-sides disc that is planned for the boxset? thanks for the help, nice to know there are so many people out there who appreciate frank's work. |

I don't think the joys of collecting Frank Black's work are ever over. I would keep checking ebay, and you would be surprised what you can come across in music stores. I have stumbled across quite a few nice finds while digging through the used racks.
I also hope there will be many b-sides and rarities on a boxset. I don't think they are even close to an official word on that, but if the Man says it will happen....it will! |

amazon.co.uk has copies of 'Dog In The Sand'
some of the folk selling copies dispatch from the U.S if that's where you are.

Hey Tom... if you own the original albums and are looking solely for bonus tracks, you could always try peer-to-peer sharing software. Soulseek, for instance. |

I would use soulseek or another peer to peer system but there is nothing quite like owning the original cd and not just an mp3 burned to disc. It's the same reason that i was so disappointed that the itunes exclusive ep tracks coudnt be released on cd as more people would have access to the material.I live in the uk and am i correct in believing the tracks were only available on the us version? The hunt continues! |

What about http://www.amazon.co.uk ?
They have an import version of Dog in the Sand for 11 pounds, which includes 4 acoustic bonus tracks.
They also have a couple of CDs listed as Pistolero import discs, but only one of them gives a track listing (which doesn't include Valley of Our Hope). |

I have the version of dog in the sand with the four bonus tracks but the japanese copy has a song called le cigar volant (please excuse the more than likely incorrect spelling of that one!)which like valley of our hope is meant to be very good. |

I've heard that song mentioned before. Someone posted a link to Hmv Japan's site before, in relation to Pixies reissues. I checked tham out in regard to FB, but the only Japanese version they list is Frankblackfrancis. The rest are imports: http://www.hmv.co.jp/search/index.asp?artist=frank+black |
