i personally don't post very often in threads over 5 pages long, partly because they take a while to load and partly because i never remember what was said or if i have read the whole damn thing. the "what are you listening thread" is one that i kinda check and post in sometimes and if i see someone posting something that i'm not too familiar with but want to check out i may send an e-mail and ask if they own other stuff?, are they good?, what should i listen to first? that sorta thing. keep that one alive! or start a new one, or archive the first 50 pages (if that's possible).
"answer and ask" - getting kinda old but i still read it once in a while, especially if i click on a profile and see someone else has posted there, y'know in order to learn more about a fellow forum member, and also i need more posts (but i have my own thread for that now, so pffffffft).
"what are you wearing" - not for a while
"what did you eat" - haven't checked to see if someone posted a picture of a cat yet, but i'm always tempted. i could eat a peach for hours. ;)
"beautiful men/women" - look at the women once in a while
"what's on your mind" - i'm an active topic kind of guy and if the forum isn't too busy i'll post here
"topic you were going to post but didn't" - i read it and get a kick out of it but rarely post in it. |

If self-righteousness was cause for banishment, this post would definitely get you the boot.

Are you telling us to not yield to temptation? We're getting mixed signals here. |

quote: about sixty different threads which all amount to the same thing - post whatever the fuck you want.
Actually, the only thread I can think of that amounts to that is the "random post whatever you want" thread, and there will often be a week or more in between posts to that one. The others all have a clearly defined topic, and these topics generally don't overlap, either. Eating dinner, asking questions, what you're wearing, what you're listening to, and topics you were going to start but didn't are all totally different. I guess the "pictures of beautiful men/women" threads could be combined into a general "pictures of beautiful people," but I don't think that's necessary.
I DO have to wonder why some people think it's easier to complain than to not read threads they know they won't be interested in.
Also, I move that I be banned from the forum.

That would not only be unnecessary, but also wrong. I never check the "beautiful women thread, but I always go to the "beautiful men" thread. It's a good thing that they are separated. |

It's depressing to see this promising thread devolve into the usual "mind numbingly boring" "entertainment". PixieSteve, you've been assimilated. |

I see what you're saying, but if I had a kitten I'd keep plenty of rubber bands nearby. Never know when you'll need to put the little bastards back in line.
