Or rather, Uma Thurman. She's 35 years old today. I just watched the first movie she starred in, Kiss Daddy Goodnight. That is a bizarre film. It has Paul Dillon, Matt Dillon's brother. Steve Buscemi is in the film briefly. And Arto Lindsay, the avant garde guitar player from DNA and the Lounge Lizards, has a small scene as a strange cab driver. Anyone else seen that? Weird-ass low budget film.
Anyway, Uma Thurman is quite the cool gal and I just wanted to remind people that she's 35 years today.

to celebrate her birthday (or out of sheer coincidence) i watched THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN today.

i can't believe she's that young. i thought she was older for some reason.
not to nitpick but JOHNNY BE GOOD was the first film she starred in (directed by someone i've worked with. he actually "discovered" her, casting her in that film)..
to celebrate her birthday i'll look online for still photos of the HENRY AND JUNE lesbian scene

My friend saw Uma in New York and said she was extrodinarily beautious in person, like an alien or something i.e., otherworldly!
