I really need to convert some vhs tapes to dvd. I've got a video card that can do it (ATI AIW), software that can do it (i think.. Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE Basic, Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Nero 6), and a dvd burner, but i'm somewhat computer illiterate and get lost trying to figure out how to do it with online tutorials. Basically I'm looking for someone to "mentor" me and guide me through it, nice and slow. I can kinda "capture" ok, but mainly need help "authoring", like with chapters and menus.
Included with the vhs tapes I need to convert are several Frank Black live shows.. so whoever successfully helps me out will be rewarded by getting dvd copies of some FB shows! email me through the "Email Poster" button above if you can help. thanks btw, I'm in the US (so we're talking NTSC format, not PAL). |

A friend of mine transferred a load of VHS stuff to DVD with Nero.
"Aw yeah, that's the good stuff!" |

Tape them onto a DV camcorder, then import using your movie software and make DVD. Viola.
