1. Does anybody in your family share your love of Frank? My youngest brother likes TOTY. [edit] My girlfriend likes DITS and SMYT sometimes. Which leads me to think that I could marry her after all.
2. Best thing about your childhood? Dunno. Maybe my summer holidays with my mother, on the Riviera in the 70s. My mother has always been immature, superficial, eccentric and more concerned about her (perfect) beauty than about anything else, but - maybe for these reasons - holidays with her were really fun.
3. What was your favorite food growing up? Dunno. Waffles. Maybe.
4. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Vet or journalist.
5. Why is your best friend your best friend? He's taught me, just by being himself, that we're 100% responsible of our lives. That life is nothing else than what we most deeply wish it to be. Or in short, that everything is a matter of mind.
6. Are you close to your siblings? I'm closer to my brothers, especially my youngest brother, than to my parents, especially my father.
7. Do you believe you can remain friends after you break up? Now that I have a child, yes.
8. Are most of your friends of your gender or the opposite gender? Why? My best friend is of my gender, but most of my other friends are not. I think most of women are deeper than most of men. Furthermore, women have always brought me luck.
9. What did your dad do while you were growing up? Your mom? Dad: haut fonctionnaire (sorry, I don't know the English term) at the Department of National Education. Could have been a great musician. Sad. Mom : teacher and artist.
10. Who or what do you live with (family, roommates, pets)? My girlfriend, my son and a bunch of wasps and hornets between June and September.
11. How many times did you move from when you were born until you turned 18? 4.
12. Who is/was your favorite relative? See question #1.

Go yell "KAT ONOMA!" in the "best K band" thread instead of contradicting me. I said you would, they're expecting you.

1. Does anybody in your family share your love of Frank?
no
2. Best thing about your childhood?
all of it - growing up on a farm away from everything and everyone
3. What was your favorite food growing up?
corn on the cob from the veggie patch
4. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
artist
5. Why is your best friend your best friend?
we understand each other
6. Are you close to your siblings? If any only child, did you enjoy being an only child?
not any more - living in a different hemisphere makes it difficult. I've not seen my younger sister in over 3 years and my brother lives in Australia now which is a nightmare with time zones (plus email just doesn't happen with him). Strangely enough my sister and I have the habit of doing the same things though and only finding out afterwards which freaks my mother out.
7. Do you believe you can remain friends after you break up?
depends on the relationship - I'm not friends with some of my exes because they were assholes. I'm still friends with the ones that I care about.
8. Are most of your friends of your gender or the opposite gender? Why?
fair mix, though probably more male friends than female. I'm not sure why. I'm not a girly girl and I think quite a bit of it has to do with my taste in music. It could also be that I was the only woman at work for a very long time and maybe I'm more comfortable relating to men. (feel free to analyse at will and put it all down to my relationship with my father)
9. What did your dad do while you were growing up?
farmer
Your mom?
full time mom
10. Who or what do you live with (family, roommates, pets)?
2 cats - Hank and Bubba, and sometimes a husband
11. How many times did you move from when you were born until you turned 18?
never
12. Who is/was your favorite relative?
was my dad and my grandfather, not sure which of them now - ask me at again at the end of the year when I've spent time with them again
The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. |
