This thread is all about sharing little secrets about what makes you feel good.

Today to be immature and hopefully get a laugh out or Mr. Daisy, I started roaring at all the people going to the Lion King. It was amusing. But the roaring itself put me in a much better mood.

It was a cheap thrill. So now when ever I feel bad I am going to roar.

You try it at tell me what you think.

What G through PG13 rated things to you do to make you laugh and put yourself in a better mood.

The weirder the better!!!

Mentally-challenged dancing to top 40 in the grocery store. Or walking silly a la Ministry of Silly Walks, or like the old cartoon characters with the floopy wavy arms and long gait. I can't be civilized in stores, the more zombified the clientele and orderly and consumerist-colorized atmosphere, the worse I get.

Sharing a little secret about what makes me feel good?

Listening to the Catholics, preferably from the audience.
And that's no secret.

I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics

Acting foolish in public places, sort of like Apl described. Listening to music whilst walking around town, singing along.

Some brains just work that way, that's what chemicals can do.

Well that's no fair. We all know that. And I should have considered roaring at all the people while I was attending a performance of the Lion King. Perhaps that could have kept me from falling asleep during it. I needed to be entertained and it certainly wasn't coming from the stage. I swear, the entire cast that day was comprised of drunken understudies. Let's see now. Something little that makes me happy? There's way too many. The most recent one I discovered was chatting at friends on MSN Messenger and ending every single sentence with an exclamation point. Try it! If you're sleepy it'll wake you up! You'll get all gittery for no good reason! You'll become excited through the powerful persuasion of punctuation!

my wife does this impression of a little bird being fed worms with her mouth wide open when she wants a glass of wine and it makes me laugh every time, she has been doing it for as long as I have known her.

My days of pestering folks going about their busines are over.

Now I'm the one who is occasionally pestered.

Strange to be on the other end. Not that funny after all.

Having my music at work, I guess. Makes me feel a bit better.

acting like a 7-year old with my son.

In fact, we're probably acting like we're both 5;

Making up gibberish and just making all kinds of nonsensical noises and songs.

He loves to play a game where whenever he opens his mouth to say something I just say some kind of gibberish to block out whatever he is saying.

Other than that, I'm not sure I know how to have g-rated fun.

Acting like a kid with your kids is awesome.
Otherwise when do you get to act like that really.
Its fun and it takes the stress out of your day.
I agree wholeheartedly. :)

Cheeseman, dancing Monkey Man is great, I love it.
Dancing with my daughter and listening to her pretending she knows the song's lyrics and trying not to laugh about it.
