Apologies for the unashamed plug here...
We've organised a concert/club night on 14th April, at the London Metropolitan University Student Union in Whitechapel E1. As well as SU bar prices and some pretty decent music by the sound of it, we have three excellent bands playing: The Cartwheel Club, Commander Swift and The Latter-Day Saints.
As the more culturally aware of you will realise, Thursday is the new Friday, and this should be a really good night out.
So please, come along, its only a fiver and all to a really good cause (you'll all be aware of the latest earthquake to hit the area - it's all desperately needed), bring your friends and have some fun!
If you want any further information (flyers, maps, times, that sort of thing) just give me a shout. I know there's a FBNet London contingent here (I'm looking at you Scarla O and Edwina), it'd be cool to see any and all of you.

Bill -Scarla O'- is not around today, and I've just seen your post.
I'd really like to come to the event, as it sounds pretty good, and I'm sure he would too (Whitechapel is also quite convenient), but unfortunately we'll be away on holiday, on the 14th...
I hope you'll organize something similar again soon, and that we'll be able to make it.

Cheers for contemplating it at least guys! Seriously, if anyone has the opportunity I think it's going to be a fun night out. Plus, you have the joy of meeting me if you so wish. Who'd pass that up?
