Thanks Bernard.
Has the 'North Observatory' got a telescope or is it a different kind of observatory?

The North Observatory is the place where I live, on the top of a narrow building, in the north area (18eme arrondissement) of Paris... Depending on the weather or on my state of mind, it is a boat, it is a lighthouse, it is a look-out post on the world down below, or on the sky beyond the grey roofs... Guess i must be a little perceptive (So was Jacques Tati !)
(Sorry for delay in answering Scarla O... By the way, could somebody help me with my english, it takes me so much efforts, all the more as my ideas are not that clears)

Oui Andy, but not that much exciting at the horizon today... It's grey all around, from top to bottom... That 's... greyt !
Hey Carl, by the way, where did you pick your favorite joke up : "Headlamps. That's the French." !? I knew it from Belgium, but didn't know it traveled up to Ireland...

It's an old quote from a Black Francis article. I'm actually not sure what it means, just that it sounds funny. Is'nt Frank quite big over there? He seems to love it. Of course, he makes an apperance with Placebo in Paris on there live DVD.
By the way, is it true The Cult Of Ray went top 10 over there? |

Frank Black is big anywhere...
In France he is not a superstar at all, it just seems that the French crowds are more responsive than others (according to him). And as a well educated American it is natural for him to think that French people are smarter...
It's all disco fiction anyway...

By da way... The placebo appearance never happened, was an error. Should be forgotten.

Yes... "Headlamps! That's the French." sounds really good ! The belgian joke I know says the french don't need their headlamps on when driving on the motorway, cos' they figure they are "luminaries"... Haha ! Hum...
