Nice one, Psychic.
I am still hoping that someone here will direct me to the URL where, up until a couple of years ago, you could play Pong and the ball had on it a photo of Frank's head from, I think, the inside cover of TOTY.

The video for 'Hang On To Your Ego' has Joey's head being knocked around in a pong game. Funny, I've only just made a connection between that and 'Whatever Happened To Pong' now. Frank must have liked chilling at the video arcade in the past....I mean, that and 'Theme From Narc'!! |

I've never seen that video, Carl. Do you have a copy or know where it exists online?
Yeah, you just know that Frank likes the old video arcade now and then.

It's good to see Frank recognising the Grandaddy of video games. Who else could've got away with it ? I remember The Pretenders having a song called 'Space Invaders'.

Yeah, Space Invaders was great! I didn't play it a whole lot, I think I may have reached level 3 or 5???? All I remember is that it gets real fast and they multiply exponentially.
Now, Pong, that was our first video game (my brother and I, believe or not) We had it set up down in the den where the TV was, and we played it all of the time. When you became good at it you could hit it with back spin, top spin, fast off the corners, or slow it down. I never played it at video arcades or bars. I always enjoyed pinball, darts and pool. Although, there was this bar with a Carribean theme, and it had a surfboard that you would stand on and look at a large video screen in front of you with waves to surf, the board would move and you had to stay on. Very difficult game, and you could either look very cool or very uncoordinated on it. |

I dunno if you were you can see it online...perhaps a Frank DVD would include it. It's a real funny video, it features Frank dressed up as a farmer and with a ventriloquists dummy! And his brother appears in it. I think it's his first video-although that might be Los Angeles?
