What would you choose for your last meal?

I always lose my appetite thinking about this. So
someone else post their answer.

P.S. There is a book out there about condemned
U.S. prisoner's last meals, with interviews, menus,
pix, etc. Sounds fascinating.

Canadian bacon.

So, needless to say, if you were waiting around with five bucks in your hand waiting to buy my upcoming brochure Understanding Poop, you can put that five bucks away, 'cause it ain't happenin.

There was a link to that somewhere, kathryn, but I think they took it down for reasons of bad taste...

I have no idea what I'd have. Maybe a really nicely done kleftiko, from Jimmy's in Soho.

Maybe Unicorn. Hopefully the amount of time it would take someone to track down a Unicorn, I'd have found a way to escape my death sentence. Or a sasquatch (sorry KOK).

But if I really had to pick, I'd say probably just go with a good cheseburger and fries. Swiss cheese, or course.

Still too freaked to think of a meal. But it would have to include
maple syrup.

(Cheesey, you are such a Cypriot! First, halloumi, now
kleftiko. You just scored major points with me.)

Kathryn, the book you've mentioned is "The Menu" it's bleak.
I'm taking this question as a space travler, not as a condemned man.
I would like two fried eggs overeasy, sausage, Taylor ham, homefries, buttered toast and a Pilsner or two.
dont forget the ketchup.

i think it would be a dead tie between some pasta/red wine or as sir mikeabye suggested, a good hamburger w/ some hot peppers, swiss cheese and chow chow relish and fries with a few pints of yuengling. depends of the day i suppose.

I'd probably have some pizza, or maybe spaghetti or lasagna. I don't know. I might not be in the mood to eat, if I'm being executed.

i more like, loOKEd at IT.
"The Menu" in its physical state is a black leather Menu. inside, the white pages read in scriptive and absorb your reading light rather then reflect.
Twelve last suppers or so

I thought this was "The Last Men on Earth".

1. I am a fsh with no i's.
2. You must be wearing Zubaz, 'cause you're daring to be different.
3. I am a man with 3 fingers...but that doesn't count my index finger nor my thumb.

there's a website on the Texas Penitentiary page that lists last meals for death row inmates...I read the list for about 15 minutes, just to see what folks would choose and then I became very disgusted with it and haven't been back....
