Joey plays the same as Black in the chorus, just the chords.

actually, the chorus is the quiet bit with just the bassline and joey playing those lead notes just before the verse ;)
edit: apart from the last one of course, where he does just play the chords. don't think he'd be asking about that though. |

Explain your logic to me PixieSteve.
Surely the chorus is the noisy part and the bit where Joey plays those notes before the "verse" is the pre-chorus. I'm usually wrong about these things right enough and realise I'm stating what the common man would state in my position so I'm prepared to proven wrong.
Oh and just to be right about something - Frank is playing in my "pre-chorus" too, he's palm muting the power chords.

It's a little buried since he's muting the string/s, but he definately plays that, and then goes to G# (4th fret, 6th string) when Joey's little fill comes in.

chorus:

A body of singers who perform choral compositions, usually having more than one singer for each part. 6. A body of vocalists and dancers who support the soloists and leading performers in operas, musical comedies, and revues.
play particular attention to no.3 but also look at the others to understand it nearly always relates to the vocals/lyrics of a song, not the loudness or whatever.
it's the quiet "gouge away, you can stay all day..." bit that is repeated and is therefore the chorus.
it's unusual (and cool) that the chorus is quieter, yes, but i still think it's a chorus.
