i would think that a fuck buddy would be a consistent sex partner, for whom there are no feelings beyond physical attraction, where as a booty call is a one (or two or three) time thing, where it is a last minute thing, like 'yo bitch, get over here and let's fuck' (filthy language optional)

Good definitions, Brian. I would say;
fuck buddy (a term I first heard in the gay community in the late 70s, then widely used among straights starting in the mid-90s): aka a friend with benefits
booty call: typically a middle-of-the-night knock on the door/phone call resulting in sex
people who do booty calls never upgrade to fuck-buddy status; however, fuck buddy arrangements can deteriorate to booty calls
isn't the forum a wonderful place, where we can share important knowledge?

I burned my turtle candle because I was just going to throw it away and at first the flames, they pleased me, but now it makes me sad. The hole has burned into the shell and looks like a big gaping wound and I did that. I killed the red turtle. It's over thirty years old and I killed it. Even the turtle wax eyes look angry.

well it's burned nearly through now so I blew it out then the smoke came out and it looked like I'd shot a big smokey hole in the turtles shell. I felt really guilty, but now I know it had to be done.
I now have a nice set of wax fake fingertips too.

Don't know where to post this but it made me laugh hard and hold my head in despair at the same time:

Thirty-year-old Deleese Williams claims in her suit that in a "before" segment taped for the show, she was forced to listen to "horrific, hurtful statements from virtually every member of her family." Afterwards, the suit further claims, her sister was so depressed by the fact that Deleese had heard her remarks that she committed suicide. The suit alleges that Williams was dumped from the show after surgeons determined that it would take too long to repair her deformed jaw. Williams's attorney, Casie Gotro, told the Houston Chronicle that since the taping, Williams has become a "virtual recluse." Noting that reality shows cost little to produce, Gotro remarked that there is also "a human cost associated with this type of television. [Deleese] wants them to know you can't just cast people away like they're nothing.">>
