I've felt blue all day, after the relief that my family's alright. A plane leaving my hometown in Cyprus en route to Athens crashed into a mountain. Among the dead are 48 schoolchildren.
A three-day mourning period has been declared in Cyprus. Tomorrow is a major holiday for Greeks, as big as Christmas. Bad timing no matter when.
Since I was little it's been a happy feeling to fly into Athens, where my favorite relatives live. It hurts to think those poor souls perished in a place I love so.
Rambling. I'll go swim now.

I managed to contain the vomit in a swallow like procedure and I left half an hour early having written all I could and in deep need of my bed.

| me and the guy i work with speak virtually no words of the other persons language....but we get by, just, and everydat whenever we need to give something to the other person we shout "present!" and we both laugh, even though its not a funny joke, the thing is its probably some of the best social interaction ive had in months. perhaps i should emigrate and be super popular |
