OK, so next season Wigan are playing in the Premiership, Southampton will be playing Hull City and Liverpool will be holders of the European Cup.
The world has turned upside down.

The English world maybe. Or the European one.
Here in North America we remain on pins and needles over the NHL's future.
Hockey. Now there's a game.

Sports in general don't interest me. If it came down to it, though, I think I'd rather watch European than American football.

on my mind, yesterday got a train to where my mum and brothers live, my mother is expecting me to arrive this afternoon and she has been at work all night in a respite centre, she's due home in three hours. Since arriving I went and said hi to my middle bro and his fiance and had a pint with my younger bro in the pub where they all work, went to the supermarket and bought a truck load of groceries including some fine coffee and pastries for mums breakfast, Had tea with my youngest brother before he went to bed because he works early am, I have cleaned and polished, washed dried and ironed four machine loads of washing, woke up the bro at 4am with a cup of tea so he could get to work ok, made my mums bed, tidied her room, vacuumed and scrubbed floors, cleaned the bathroom, placed strategically on her bed her freshly washed dressing gown and a big gift box of her favourite toiletries, made a breakfast spread on the kitchen table and stuck a note to the inside of the front dor that reads...
Dearest Momma Bear, after many mis-spent years ebony-locks decided to repent her ways, she cast aside porridge stealing, chair breaking and bed warming and decided to give something back to the community from which she so cruelly stole. When she knew moma bear was away for the night she snuck down to the house and... Rather than steal the breakfast she prepared a feast... Rather than break the chairs she tidied them away... Rather than sleep in the bed she.... OK, so some habits are harder to break than others. So guess who's sleeping in the spare bed? (and would like a coffee please, black no sugar)
I realy hope she sees the funny side. and now I really need to sleep, although dizzy not actually sleepy though, sodding typical
I hope that I will live to see you undress |

Shit damn hell! In an attempt to develop some kind of financial responsibility I've hidden my credit card away from myself. Now I can't make daft impulse buys online while being overtired and weak. I just spoil my own fun too often.

you could always torture yourself until you give in and tell yourself the hidden location of the card...i used to try hiding cards, but then when found them i would buy myself a big reward for finding it |

The problem is I know where it's hidden - it would however require an inconvenient bus ride and I'm feeling reckless now. Bugger bugger bugger.

Surfer, there's no hiding from one's own recklessness. It's time for you to accept that truth.

Maybe this will require a great journey *cough-roadtrip-cough* of self discovery for me to totally understand my own recklessness.

Hell no. Skip the details and get right down to the gratification. What is it you so covet to purchase with said wayward credit card?

For shame, Surfer! Get a sense of perspective! Music and clothing items are infinitely important and necessary in the grand scheme of things. I say, find the card and buy what you crave.

Now that I understand the importance of my recklessness I'll get right back to it. Thank you Zub and Kathryn for showing me the way. |
