I haven't slept since in 36 hours, I have just found out 40 mins before it starts, that my lecture has been rescheduled to from friday afternoon to 2pm this afternoon, I have no bus fare, I am still in my jimjams

I had a really fucking scarey snake experience when I was about 15. Now I'm going to tattoo one on my hip to complete the whole temptation story and childhood thing.

It doesn't sound half as scarey in the re-telling but at the time I was totally shitting myself. My younger sister and I were home alone on the farm one evening watching videos when the dogs started acting really strangely, it was the middle of summer and still light outside, so I went out onto the patio to see what was upsetting them - turned out to be the biggest puff adder snake I've ever seen (horribly poisonous), a couple of feet from the door. Thankfully they're lazy bastards and the dogs were too scared to go outside otherwise we'd have lost a dog (not the first time that would have happened either. They're not really the kind of animal you shoo away with a broom though and my neighbours weren't exactly within what I'd call walking distance, so I did what I'd been taught to do and shot it. Not a proud moment really, but a very fucking real one.

i used to have these recurring dreams that a snake was in my room. they were 'waking dreams', where you're waking up, but you're still dreaming.. so while you're partially awake, you're still seeing stuff from your dreams (ie. scary snake).. kind of like sleep walking. it usually wasn't until i turned on the light that realized it was (another) dream..

My brother saw a puff adder in SA. It was on his patio and he didn't realise what it was, and assumed it was asleep. So he went up close and took a photo of it.
As you do, with a horribly poisonous snake.
I don't know, if I saw a snake I don't think I'd go up close...
 I'm like a lost snail in the night. |

I have a couple of friends who adore snakes. My good
friend (SURFER YOU WOULD KILL FOR THIS MAN)
has a bunch of them and I won't go to his apartment,
we always hang out at my house or elsewhere, anywhere
but his house. (I might try to dig up a couple of photos of
him, Surfer.)
