We were NOT planning to spam here. All we were doing was trying to let people here know about our board to try to get some new members. You see, a faction of posters left our board to form another, less cool board and we want some new peeps to come on in.
No malice intended. Whoever gave you your info is obviously jealous that our board is totally cool and their new board is failing miserably.

hello.
if you are serious then welcome and enjoy your time here.
however, if there are constant posts where you only speak to each other, they will be locked (read the GENERAL CHAT FAQ posted on top of General Chat). i'm not trying to be a dick, just look out for the board and its regular posters.

ok guys, i'm going to lock this up if there is anymore in talking between your pre-existing clique. this forum is not simply a place for you to come and talk to the same people you could talk to elsewhere. either join in on real conversations, or head back to your own board

ok guys, you had your shot.
the point wasn't to talk about frank black, it was just to participate in the actual forum, not just hang around and chat with your friends. we have bandwidth concerns here, and because of that, we try to not encourage people to have conversations that could easily take place over instant message, chat room, or email to take place on the forum. clearly that is what you were doing.
and for someone who was NOT coming here to cause trouble, you sure got pretty defensive.
