did anyone happen to catch this after the Oscars? it was so bizarre. Will Ferrell was completely fucking with her. it was great. yet kind of painful to watch.

I wish I could see it. I have never seen Will Ferrell talk in 'real life'.

it was very Ali G esque. he didn't answer any of the questions seriously, but never broke character.
she asked him what he would do if he could have a super human power and he said to vomit on command. but he kept it going in a dead serious way..
so awkward

I actually saw it, but I saw it aired before the Oscars. She seemed a bit taken aback by his behavior. And the whole "Super-Power-Vommiting" thing seemed to put her off a bit. I do enjoy seeing someone like Ferrel out of context, but like Floop said, the enjoyment is sometimes followed with pain.
You just had to beat me to the puke, didn't you?

but then followed by more enjoyment.
i like it when someone is willing to do some edgy humor like that and keep it going. i kept expecting him to say, "i'm just kidding" but he stuck to it..
yeah, she seemed REALLY put off by him. it was great
i think he was put off by her lack of a sense of humor, so he just kept it going.. that's my theory

It would appear Floop, that you didn't enjoy the interview as much for Ferrel, you enjoyed it more by Walters' reaction?

Reminds me more of the Chris Morris genius that is Brass Eye and Day Today. I like that kind of humour. It's kind of hard to watch, but it's so good 'cos you know you could never have the balls to do it.

no, i enjoyed both. how could i enjoy Walters' reaction without appreciating Ferrell's comedy genius for inciting her reaction? they are not mutually exclusive

I wish i woulve seen this. I hate it when celebrities go on /B Walters and get SO phonilt serious and cry (boo hoo!) about some childhood trauma or shit like that.
I luv that Will Ferrell fucked w/ her ugly head! Even comedians cry (boo hoo!) during her "interviews".
Power to Will Ferrell! |

i think from the point that he told her she smelled like cinnamon it went downhill (in a good way). she was not flattered..

"I'm the first to discover you're crazy." She's so absolutely weak.
I thought he was being sincere about the fame all of a sudden going away, which was too cliche.
PS Jaime Foxx was great in Ali. Who knew Living Color would produce 2 great actors. |

Naaah, don't bother. The good moments are rare. Actually do bother, and get a DVD player too so you can watch lots of movies and concerts and such. Do you watch these things at friend's houses now?

You are telling fibs. You have posted in the 'I Just Watched' thread, and not just about films.

no, it's true. doesn't watch tv at all, can you believe that? i think once i tried to fake her out by emailing her that frank was on 60 minutes RIGHT NOW and she got all frantic because she couldn't watch it (it was actually jack white that was on). i laughed at her expense. sorry kiki.
don't even get me started on the 2ft x 6ft cave she keeps her stereo in.

So how does she watch these concert vids/DVD's and such-like? I believe her that she doesn't have a TV (I knew that anyway), but she must watch them somewhere. She claims not, but she has posted about them elsewhere.

Yes, and exactly where were you during the Oscars? We're on to you and your lies.
TIVO makes everything good. The Oscars last about 30 minutes with the 30 second skip button. |

They're broadcast in the sky above her house.

She'll come back eventually, it's not like she checks this board every 30 minutes. |
