Hi folks, I have a bit of trouble to nail the tone of the 12-12-14 notes... Er, I don't have a JCM 800 of course but I could use a bit of advice :D (yeah, I'm a crappy player)

if you learnt this song from this sites tab section, i think it's wrong.
franks lead seems right, but the chords for the singing part were written under the influence.
not saying this is any better, but here's something a little closer to the mark, still written by someone under the influence.

The frayed color of ice
some of the chords could be e.g, C7's and major/mnor, but you should be able to work out when you play along to surfer rosa

Man, I've been bandying my Pixies-geek knowledge far too much today...oh well..
FB doesn't play C7, its just Cmaj- Joeys lead part provides the major 7th (A#) on that bit.
Hey, I play/ed in a tribute band, so shoot me....
