I would like it if, rather than record new material for a new album, that the Pixies record an album full of bubble gum songs....

e.g. 'CHEWY, CHEWY, CHEWY', '96 TEARS', 'YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY', 'YELLOW POLKADOT BIKINI', and ideally, hopefully, 'MONSTER MASH'.

That would be great.

That's an amazing idea. But it wouldn't be complete without a cover of Annie's "Chewing Gum".

I can actually . Alex Chilton already did an extremely heavy cover around 1970 of that very same song. It's amazing how well that song can be turned into guitar-mayhem not unlike Black Sabbath.

Maybe they can add "My boyfriend's back" and "Teen Angel" to the list!

Maybe they can cover some of the songs from XTC's unreleased bubblegum album.

I always dreamed on a Pixies "Monster Mash" cover.
In the "Dancing the Manta Ray" way, you know.

IMO this bubblegum album is a wretched idea. I can't stand those songs.

I'd much rather the Pixies cover the first Venom album in its entirety.
