So I was looking for new songs to cover with my band and listened to Bowie's It's No Game (part 2). And it suddenly struck me how it sounds a lot like Frank's Baby That's Art, Oddballs version. The resemblance is stunning. Same pace, same bass guitar, same guitar, same quiet singing, same background vocals. So I checked on the Oddballs cover and it does say 'Trying to be Bowie'. I had never noticed the similarity. Has anyone else noticed it? If you want to download the song, beware, there's a "Part 1" which is quite heavy but I'm talking about "Part 2".

as i wrote before, the whole cult-of-ray bonus cd (where baby-that's-art originates from) is very bowie-esque
I joined the cult of Souled American / 'cause they are a damn' fine band |

Is the non-Oddballs version a lot different? I haven't heard of it. |

The Oddballs version is better IMO. I'm not sure but I think the EP version has an extra rhythm guitar, but it sounds cooler without it.

He is trying to imitate the weird sound of Robert Fripp's Guitar, but the rest does not sound very much like a Bowie song to my opinion... AFTER ALL am I not the best BOWie admirers in this forum??? LOOK OUT. No that song is one the most original Frank Black song Ever. Very Sexy... Hmmm. I want some.
