UPDATE 3/3/05:

We are the Frank Black League (ID# 127387), password is Catholics, and our live draft is March 7th at 7:45pm. Join up!

| I usually join a few leagues (a couple of Yahoo's and Scoresheet simulation league). If there was a fb.net free league I would join, but I don't think I should lay out another $80. |

i like dead pools. pick 15 famous people, if they die in the calender year you get (one hundred minus their age at time of death) points. easy to keep track, add up on new year's eve, settle the bet (usually made the year before, usually in alcohol form), pick new people for the next year. i only did it once, i got no points, i remember picking scott weiland, courtney love, strom thurman (i thought that would be an easy point or 7) and ronald reagan.

If you guys are really gonna do this in Yahoo, someone should take initiative and create the League before all the good 'DRAFT' dates and times are taken. Just a heads up.

i'll set it up as long as we decide what kind of league - rotisserie, head to head, etc. i always like head to head, but thats just me. votes?

Sucking in one league is enough for me, but if you need that 10th player I will join and you won't have to worry about me being a dead player. I play till the end of the season. Unlike some people who give up too soon.
As far as league type ours is a points league. These are our setting so far:
Hitting/fielding: R (1), H (1), 1B (1), 2B (2), 3B (3), HR (4), RBI (2), SB (1), CS (-1), BB (1), K (-1), TB (1), E (-1)
Pitching/fielding: IP (1), W (10), L (-10), CG (10), SHO (10), SV (5), OUT (1), H (-1), ER (-1), HR (-4), BB (-1), K (1), HLD (2), E (-1)

I prefer head-to-head but either is fine. Also, I don't mind have an automated draft with draft lists if that's easier.

In Yahoo, if you pick "Live Draft", do you still have the option of using an automated list, if you want?
I've done that before, on an ESPN league though. Since it was a live draft, and I wasn't available, everyone else that wanted to draft live did so, but I was able to use a list.

I really don't have a preference as to the format, whatever the commish (BF?) goes with is fine by me. I'm available almost any time for a draft...

Yahoo is the best way to go. But they make it tricky on the sign up. They try to make you join their pay leagues, but just look around and join the free one.
