Mmmm - sex drugs and rock and roll vs tequila and fajitas

You're making it hard. My flesh is weak as is my mind.

Are the fajitas made according to Floop's famous recipe?

I was going to build a space rocket in the back yard and fly to the nearest star but the copper-coated twirlygigylator didn't arrive and the factory reckons they can't get it sent out till next week at the earliest now, which is a bit of a pisser but as we all know a space rocket 'aint going anywhere without a copper-coated twirlygigylator. I had the fajitas for the journey and the tequila to christen my ship before her maiden voyage. I was going to call her 'spinky'

I prefer the space rocket story and am choosing to ignore the food and films one.

Unless you say you were preparing for your space rocket trip - you could be watching erm health and safety films or something and building reserves for the long trip?

My plan's for the weekend involved constructing furniture bought cheaply from the big new Ikea that's just opened.
However, I pulled up today (opening day) to be told that the store was closed, due to their having been a large scale riot and stabbing as the doors opened at midnight. I asked when it was expected to open up again, thinking along the lines of later in the afternoon, and the tired-looking Saffa said, 'maybe Saturday'.

Properly hilarious. Only in North London do you get a stabbing at a furniture store opening.

So. Count me in.

Sadly Kathryn, like I said, the stabbing was unrelated. It's lost some of it's humour now for me.

The riot was not quite as large scale as they had Simon believe either. It was no LA.

I was very dissapointed to find this out.

I dunno, 4000 people trying to get in the same sets of doors. The pictures in the paper looked pretty ugly. 9 ambulances called, tons of police, all this sort of nonsense.
Amused me for a while though. Teach to build a giant shop in frikkin' Edmonton.

Burnin' cars, looted mini-malls, the sound of choppers overhead. Man, I miss LA!

Why was prince charles in the news? What lame news is out of the palace now?
