I can see my art director dressed and pretending to be a russian sniper, smoking on the balcony outside my office while our office cat, Paris, is being violated by a large white tom cat in the car park.

I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A

No - well yes I have, but they've gone mad here today.

And I'll have you know we now have photographic evidence of what is now called the small polar bear molesting dear Paris.

I can see my next door neighbor John at five feet away looking at me through his window.

Hey John!

How's it going?

Cool!

I'm typing about you!

What?!

Open your window!

What?!

Oh. Okay I'll get some clothes on.

Sorry bud!

Is that fresh coffee I smell?

The first thought I had when I saw this thread was remembering the Violent Femmes, Out the window.
What I can see is a mountain, trees, birds, the sun shinning...My office has a great view.
Now, excuse me, because I have to listen to that song.

Life was fun
life was great
til I made my big mistake...

And this is for when you're feeling sad
And this is for when you feel...

I climbed up the back of the sofa and poked my head out of the roof and I can see the road, a church and a playground, some big trees and lots of sunshine which has made me a bit hyper and sent me further into my indie pop revolution. I've donned the plastic jewellery, the glitter and eyeliner are donned, it's time for some mansun!

I can see little twinkly stars,
Like christmas tree lights in faraway windows.
Rings of brightly coloured rocks
Floating around orange and mustard planets.
I can see huge tiger striped fishes
Chasing tiny blue and yellow dashes,
All tails and fins and bubbles.

I’d look at the grey house opposite, and close the curtains.

I have a great view looking northeast from Pasadena toward the San Gabriel Mountains. Most prominent is snow-capped Mt. San Antonio (aka 10,064 foot "Old Baldy") which is about 40 miles ENE. There are several trees outside my third story window. I keep a set of binoculars on my desk so I can birdwatch when the opportunity presents itself. I regularly see acorn woodpeckers, band-tailed pigeons, vireos, ravens, and the occasional red-tailed hawk. I love my view.

I used to live accross the valley from the snowdonian mountain range at university, my room in halls had 6ft tall windows facing straight at it, it was beautiful, and I had a bats nest just above my room so always saw the little bats at night when I was studying, I miss that living in the attic with stupid roof windows...

what was my point...

... oh yeah, i'm jealous.

My view is pretty boring really. Houses, trees, road, big green dinosaur, workmen, a dog, big green dinosaur, burnt houses, blackened tree stubs, road with huge footprints, charred bodies, GODZILLA! AAAAAARRRGGHH!!

Love, love, my season

I can see a big roundabout, a petrol station, some new flats, a park in the distance. On nice days, the sunset is often spectacular (it's a big window, and faces West), but today its raining London-style.

The windows are on the other side of the callcenter..abot 200 yards off.

If I could see out them, I'd see a Lowe's.

Two feet of snow covering a little hillside, the top of a buddha statue
peeking up from the snow. A bunch of trees, a slope then up up up
a tree-filled ridgeline. Snow everywhere.

i have a view of the other side of the street, since my room is in the front. there's a casting office across the street that, from what i have surmised, seems to cast for rap and hip hop music videos.. i keep a set of binoculars on my desk because i am a nature lover. i regularly see women who look like they must be dancers, wearing skimpy outfits - african-american, asian, latino, and the occasional white chick. i love my view

from my window, facing west i can see Lisbon's Alfama skyline..on the left the cuppola of the mausoleum where Dona Amalia Rodrigues is buried, in the centre, Sao Vicente's chuch..any time of the day its a wonderful view.. but at sunset its spectacular..if i get out to a small backyard i even can see the river, shinning as silver..
the day i rented this room, two months ago, when i left to go to my hotel i was walking the Rua da graça and discovered a small fado place, not one for the tourists but for the local people, sat around and the singer started "O meu primeiro amor", i was stuck..but by personal reasons..
some afternoons y hop on a streetcar and go away just to walk around..Nice place to stay sine die

It's dark out, and from this angle, all I can see are the reflections of bookshelves.

I'm in a library, by the way.

I see another building too!

and a swatch of sky

and it glows right before sunset
and the brick wall becomes alive
the clouds turn pink and golden
like a movie created by an impresionist artist

the sky becomes greenish blue turqouise

wafty white heat billows from the apartament
and tumbling, wafts into the cold molecules of oxygen
and the rest of the atmosphere

and then the sky changes to a smokey amber
the lights come in on the other apartments

and the advertisment creators and devlopers
leave from the floors below

the students and drunkards
come and go throughtout the
evening

and finally it is
and it is still

until the trash truck comes in the morning

there are no windows where i work, as our offices are below ground. more or less directly above me, though, is a 40-story building which towers over the rest of the albany skyline. i can see this building from the rear windows of my new house, almost 10 miles to the east.
