What do you guys call crepes if you call those flat crepelike things pancakes???
Pancakes look like this;
The best crepes I had were always made by a friend's mom. They're czech and called Polichinke. Yum.

No, not an everyday occurence here.
Mostly weekends for me.
Get this, here they even have pre-made pancakes (like eggos are to waffles) that you can just pop into the toaster to warm up.
Is that not sad or what.
But don't get me wrong, I love crepes too, with jam and cream....mmmm

Carolynanna, we too have heatable pre cooked purchasable pancakes called scotch pancakes, these are not so nice though, and i think closer to your panloaves
crepes is crepes... i'll ask my brother about that, he's a chef who used to run a creperie (sp?)
and give the sugar and lemon a try (although lime and brown sugar is a nice alternative)
what recipe do you use to cook your pancakes with? wanna swap?

Handy hint when in North London: there's a little van outside Highbury & Islington station that sells crepes, although apparently he won't do one with a burger in. We figure if we can gt enough people in the queue to ask, he'll have to start.
