OK, basically we name a Pixies/FB song and name our favourite line from that song.
This week: Stormy Weather.
I'll go first, "It is time for stormy weather" Now you go!
Next week - The Adventure and the Resolution. |

I think I'd have to go with "it is time--oh, oh!"
"Reunion? Shit union!" |

Another week, another song.
"Velouria"
"in California"...just the way Frank says that last word, the way he stretches it out...goosebumps!
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics |

And how does lemur's skin reflect the sea?
Are you honest when no one's looking? Can you summon honey from a telephone? They sat there with their hooks in the water and their mustaches caked with airplane glue. |

forever green...i know she's here...
one of the most amazing moments of my life was when ms. broken fae was living in california, and as soon as i landed to visit, i put on 'velouria' and the line about california was totally true to my life.

I wasn't reprimanding you, Oh Marsist, I was trying to understand "the rules" myself. Upon starting this most excellent thread, toeknee said "this week" the song was "Stormy Weather." Should we wait a whole week before we move past "Velouria"? I don't mind if we do.
Wanna pick a song, Marsist?

"I'm not as smart as a rat. I'm much smarter than that."
Oh, wait. You were referring to the poster The Marsist, not the song by that title. :P

Hey, how did this topic become so popular?
Anyway, re. The Marsist, I am not smart as a rat - I'm much smarter than that wins hands down. |

I think I'd have to agree with both Kathryn and Shine. I love the way Frank sings the "message of love" line, but, just in terms of the words used, I prefer the Mars one.
"Reunion? Shit union!" |
