Yeah, I saw the movie. That is nowhere near my favorite song of
theirs.
Any band that mentions Charles Aznavour is OK by me!

It wasn't my favourite song either, but I think that at that time everybody went to watck that movie because of the Furs!

How odd, I was just thinking about that film earlier when fumanbru mentioned the film 'pretty as a picture' in the Lynch thread. It's a long time since I have seen Pretty In Pink, but I remember liking it. Don't remember the song though.
You know, I have noticed a few moments of weird co-ink-i-dinks recently. Ever since that topic about telepaphy.

I've been listening to them a lot recently. Interpol and British Seapower records made me long for the Furs' songs. Pretty In Pink is a great song but a few years after it's release the film came along and the song suffered from overkill. By then the Furs were past tense anyhow.
The best Furs track are Sister Europe, Imitation of Christ, President Gas and Love My Way.
