Well, 'Benji', I was going to say good to see you here again, but maybe I won't now...
I was listening to Nicole's CD today and thinking how I really don't listen to much proper rock anymore. It's a shame in some ways, but I'm awkward and prefer more complicated music now (he says, rooting around to find the Killers album...). Thats sounds pretty snobby doesn't it? I don't know, I'm just not in that much of a phase so much at the moment.

There is a school of thought which says to be a man listening to music you should listen to whatever you want, regardless of other peoples' opinions. Hence, the general Natasha Bedingfield fixation.

Damn I'd loved to have been at that Mogwai show though, Isaac. was that SMZ show the one I saw?

Seems that some of you have gotten off the topic, but i naven't forgotten and this is a question that I've thought abouth for years. My first show was Billy Joel late '80s. It made me love the live music experience. Although a few of my favorite shows ever were:
The Dead Milkmen 1990 The Ritz, Indianapolis ,IN
B.A.D., P.i.L, Live, Blind Melon 04/03/92 Salt Palace, SLC, UT
They Might be Giants / Frank Black 1994 Agora Theatre, Cleveland, OH
Phish 08/06/93 The Zoo Amp. Cinncinatti, Oh

well i dare say that some people do ascribe by that rule mccheese, but i'm not one of them.
the more damage to my ear drums i can inflict the better.
see, thats why i too love ms bedingfield, but for slightly different reasons than you.
the bedingfields all the way i say.

but yes, that was th asmz show you were at, and yeah, the mogwai show was the best...i guy i know got a line off the soundboard to tape it, but e never got the discs to work...i was gutted.

hey stymie,

i saw those first two shows when they came through vancouver. TMBG and Frank came through seperately for the same tours though and i caught both. phish? phish? i don't think johnny would like you for putting PIL in the same paragraph as phish unless there was a rules and a sucks in there.

That ASMZ was pretty good, but there were a couple of guyd in front of me who kept laughing and shouting through the whole show. That sort of thing really ticks me off, you'd have thought at that sort of show...

Let me get this straight: you love Ms B because she inflicts damage upon your ears? OK then, we do have different opinions. I just love her in general.

And she loves me.
